How to get a "scene" look without teasing your hair and wearing a lot of make-up. (For girls)

So this is mostly my everyday routine before school because my school's policy is wear you hair up and keep make-up to a minimum but I have found some ways to still be me and find some ways around this and the teachers haven't commented once on it.

Hair
Usually with my hair each day I tie it up because I usually have some sports things going on so I like to tie it up in the morning before I go instead of doing it at school. Also my fringe annoys me when I'm leaning over school work. It depends on how much time I have but I can either leave me side fringe out or grab comb and twist it a few time and pin it all straight back with booby pins. This gives it a more volume effect and I like doing it because I'm the only one that pins there hair back like this.

Don't worry this is just the first part of what I have to say about hair because I know your probably thinking what this has to do with scene.

Well not a lot of headbands look real scene but if you find one you really like just wear it. Scene is just a label not rule anyone should be following, but if you want to follow it a bandanna can help, especially in dark colours. Twist the bandanna until it make something like a headband and tie it around your head. This is just what I like to do because I don't like wearing it like a normal bandanna.

Make-up
So depending on how your strict your school is if you want to get away with the scene look you can use as much make-up as you want, especially eye make-up which would complete the effect but unfortunately my schools against eye liner, but there is a lot of make-up your school has no say in like fondation for example, even thought this isn't really just a scene girl thing every girl can use it. I personally don't because I get break out really easy and mine are usually underneath the skins which can be very painful so I find my skin is better when I don't use it, but this is a personal choice.
Mascara is another one I use every morning, teachers can't yell at you for having pretty eyelashes and last of  all I use a clear lip balm just to keep my lips healthy and apply it when I feel like it.

Oh and I almost forgot one of the greatest things ever invented and thats my under eye conceler, its great for early mornings after late night studying!

Also wear whatever jewelery you can get away with! I wear a lot of kandi braclets at school and people always complement them and I love it when they do because I make them myself and if theres ever anyone thats likes one a lot I can give it them.

Hope this helps, remember to bend the rules and just find ways around your rules or you could just face them head on and get the head council of your school to change them, pretty sure everybody would love you if you did and it would be better for you to accomplish something like that.

bye bye xx Hope this helps anyone, leave a comment
